BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA: SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1-706b of Title 63, unless there is created a duplication in numbering , reads as follows: A. A minor child who is a dmitted to an Oklahoma licensed hospital or long-term care facility has the right to rec eive visitation from a registered clergy member who represents the patient's sincerely held religious beliefs. Clergy members who exercise these visitation rights may be required to comply with certain requirements including, but not limited to: 1. Signing an acknowledgement of risks document; 2. Wearing personal protective equipment provided by the facility. B. An adult who is admitted to an Oklahoma licensed hospital, long-term care facility, or nursing home has the right to rec eive visitation from a registered c lergy member who represents the patient's sincerely held religious beliefs. Clergy members who exercise these visitation rights may be required to comply wit h certain requirements including, but not limited to: 1. Signing an acknowledgement of risks document; 2. Receiving a health screening administered by facility staff; and 3. Wearing personal protective equipment provided by the facility. C. Clergy members shall be required to comply with all reasonable safety protocols and rules of conduct. The hospital, long-term care facility, or nursi ng home may revoke visitation rights to certain clergy members if the member fails to comply with the safety protocols or visitation polic ies. D. Members of the clergy who have been suspended from visitation shall have their visitation status reviewed by hospital, long-term care facility, or nu rsing home administration every thirty (30) days for reinstatement of visitation rights.
