BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA: SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new sect ion of law to be codified in the Oklahoma Statutes as 115 of 74, unless there is created a duplication in numbering, read s as follows: A. The Office of Management and Enterprise Se rvices shall be tasked with the collection of the follow ing data from the Department of Corrections, district courts, district attorneys, public defenders, and county jail administrators: 1. The percentage of cases ending in guilty pleas ; 2. The percentage of people held in pretrial custody because they cannot afford bail ; 3. The number of dismissed cases; Req. The amount of times courts are utilizing alternative sentencing. B. The Office of Management and Enterprise Services shall take the collected data and compile it to produce a biannual report to be made accessible to the public online. C. The Office of Management and Enterprise Services shall be granted the authority to promulgate rules necessary to carry out this act. SECTION 2.
