BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA: SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 11-103.15 of Title 70, unless there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows: A. A school district may offer to students in grades eleven and twelve an elective course in law enforcement. B. A general introduction to law enforcement training; 2. Critical skills and entry requirements for law enforcement professionals; and 3. Career opportunities in law enforcement. C. The State Board of Education may coordinate with the Council on Law Enforcement Education and Trai ning to develop instructional materials and curricula for schools to use in the law enforcement elective course. The Board may promulgate rules to implement the provisions of this section. SECTION 2. This act shall become effective Novemb er 1, 2022.
