AS INTRODUCED
An Act relating to public safety; providing for
special designation for certain drivers ; providing
for codification; and providing an effective date.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF O KLAHOMA:
SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
in the Oklahoma Statu tes as Section 1136A of Title 47, unless there
is created a duplication i n numbering, reads as follows:
The Department of Public Safety shall desig n and create a
designated license plate for deaf and hear ing-impaired drivers.
These drivers shall have the option to use th ese specially
designated license plate s.
SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2022.
