AS INTRODUCED
An Act relating to poor persons; directing the
Department of Human Services to send notice to
certain individuals in certain circumstance s;
providing for codification; and providing an
effective date.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 2006 of Title 56, unless there
is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
Section 2006. The Department of Human Services shall send, by
registered or certified mail:
1. A notice to persons when they are added to the Developmental
Disabilities Services Division waiting list; and
2. An annual notice to persons on the Developmental
Disabilities Services Division waiting list. The letter shall
contain information relating to their status on the Developmental
Disabilities Services Division waiting list.

SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2022.
