BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOU SE OF REPRESENTATIVES AND THE SENATE OF THE 2ND SESSION OF THE 58TH OKLAHOMA LEGISLATURE: SECTION 1. The Secretary of State shall refer to the people for their approval or rejection, as and in the manner provided by la w, the following proposed amendment to Section 1 of Article III of the Oklahoma Constitution to read as follows: Section 1. Subject to such exceptions as th e Legislature may prescribe, all only citizens of the United States , who are over the age of eighteen (18) years, and who are bona fide residents of this state, are qualified electors of this state.
