AS INTRODUCED
An Act relating to memorial highways and bridges;
designating the “Gold Star Families Highway”;
requiring certain markers; providing for
codification; providing an effective date .
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1698.364 of Title 69, unless
there is created a duplication in numb ering, reads as follows:
The section of Interstate 44, beginning at mile marker 202 and
extending northeast to mile marker 209 , shall be designated as the
“Gold Star Families Highway”. The Department of Transportation
shall cause suitable permanent markers bearing that name to be
placed on the highway.
SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2022.
