SENATE BILL NO. 1278 By: Garvin of the Senate
and
Hill of the House
An Act relating to the Oklahoma Center for the
Advancement of Science and T echnology; repealing 74
O.S. 2021, Section 5060.9a, which relates to the
Oklahoma Science and Technology Research and
Development Act; providing an effective date; and
declaring an emergency .
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
SECTION 1. REPEALER 74 O.S. 2021, Section 5060.9a, is
hereby repealed.
SECTION 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 2022.
SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the pr eservation
of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and
be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
