BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA: SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of la w to be codified in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1-233.1 of Title 63, unless there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows: All persons licensed t o practice medicine and surgery in this state, or who are Advanced Registered Practice Nurses including but not limited to Certified Nurse -Midwives, and who provide prenatal, delivery, infant care services , and other child or adult health services related to maternal and infant care shall provid e education related to infant cardiopulmonary resuscitation and basic first aid to individuals who report to such person that they are pregnant or planning to become pregn ant.
