AS INTRODUCED 
 
An Act relating to hunting; allowing for land owners 
to hunt on private land at night w ithout permit; 
defining term; providing certain ex emptions; 
providing for codification; and providing an 
effective date. 
 
 
 
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA: 
SECTION 1.     NEW LAW     A new section of law to be codified 
in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 4-135.2 of Title 29, unless 
there is created a duplication in numbering, read s as follows: 
A.  A landowner shall not be required to hold a permit issued 
pursuant to Section 4-135 of Title 29 of the Oklahoma Statutes when 
hunting predators at night on their own private land.  As used in 
this section, a “predator” shall mean wild hogs, bobcats, mountain 
lions, wolves, and coyotes. 
B.  Pursuant to this section, land owners shall be exempt from 
statewide season regulations, bag limits, and methods of taking . 
SECTION 2.  This act shall become effective November 1, 2022.
