COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE
An Act relating to public finance; requiring signage
be placed on certain projects; providing for
implementation; assigning responsibilitie s related to
design, placement, and cost of signage; authorizing
certain assistance; providing for codification; and
providing an effective date.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 34.701 of Title 62, unless there
is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
All infrastructure or construction projects in this state that
are visible to the public and that are funded partially or fully by
the Oklahoma Joint Committee on Pandemic Relief Funding shall have
signage displayed in a prominently visible location at the project
site such as, but not limited to, a corn erstone. Such signage shall

reference the Oklahoma Joint Committee on Pandemic Relief Funding,
and the year completed. The Office of Management and Enterprise
Services shall be authorized to implement the provisions of this
section. The project awardee shall fund the design and placement of
any such signage and the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department
may assist as necessary.
SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2022.
