SENATE BILL NO. 1855 By: Simpson and David of the

Boles of the House
An Act relating to the Alternative Fuels Technician
Certification Act; amending 40 O.S. 2021, Section
142.2, which relates to inspections by the Department
of Labor; modifying equipment and facilities under
Department authority; and providing an effective
date.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 40 O.S. 2021, Section 142.2, is
amended to read as follows:
Section 142.2. A. The Department of Labor shall have authority
to have access to and inspect any equipment , including compression
equipment and storage tanks, pr actices or methods used by o r in
association with any public access compressed natural gas fueling
station or pump or any hydrogen fueling station or pump.
B. The Department may promulgate rules as necessary to
implement the provisions of this section.

SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2022.
