BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA: SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1210.190 of Title 70, unless there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows: A. No child shall be required to receive any immunization as a condition of admittan ce to any public, private or parochial school . Such school shall not use any coercive means to compel immunization. B. The State Department of Health may recommend, but shall not require, a list of immunizations for children. A public, private or parochial school may provide immunizations recommended by the Department to a child who has not received such immunizations if the Req. C. The appropriate authority of a public, private or paroch ial school who violates this section shall be in violation of the Parents’ Bill of Rights and may be punished as provided in Section 2004 of Title 25 of the Oklahoma S tatutes. SECTION 2. REPEALER 70 O.S. 2011, Sections 1210.191, 1210.192 and 1210.193 are hereby repealed. SECTION 3. This act shall become effective July 1, 2021. SECTION 4. It being immediately necessary f or the preservation of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and be in full force from and after its passage and approval. 58-1-1177 DC 1/11/2021 6:11:21 PM
