SENATE BILL 373 By: Matthews
AS INTRODUCED
An Act relating to Natural Resources and Regulatory
Services; making appropriations; stating purposes;
providing an effective date; and declaring an
emergency.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated to the Department of
Agriculture, Food, and Forestry from any monies not otherwise
appropriated from the Gen eral Revenue Fund of the State Treasury for
the fiscal year ending June 30, 2022, the sum of One Hundred
Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00) to be transferred to t he Urban
Gardens Grant Revolving Fund created i n Section 5-122 of Title 2 of
the Oklahoma Statutes .
SECTION 2. There is hereby appropriated to the Oklahoma
Historical Society from any monies not otherw ise appropriated from
the General Revenue Fund of the State Treasury for the fiscal year
ending June 30, 2022, the sum of One Hundred Fi fty Thousand Dollars
($150,000.00) for the purpose of hiring a coordinator to develop
plans to create a Civil Rights Trail visitor center.

SECTION 3. This act shall become effective Jul y 1, 2021.
SECTION 4. It being immediately necessary for the preservation
of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
declared to exist, by reason whereof thi s act shall take effect and
be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
