Supp. 2020, Section 353.30), which relates to administration of immunizations and therapeutic injections; broadening authority of pharmacist to administer immunizations ; and declaring an emergency. BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA: SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 59 O.S. 2011, Section 353.30, as amended by Section 9, Chapter 106, O.S.L. 2018 (59 O.S. Supp. 2020, Section 353.30), is amende d to read as follows: Section 353.30. A. The use of agreements in the practice of pharmacy shall be acceptable within the rules promulgated by the State Board of Pharmacy and in consultation with the State Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision and t he State Board of Osteopathic Examiners. The Board shall develop and prepare permanent rules relating to training requirements and administration of immunizations and therapeutic injections in consultation within the State Board of Medical Licensure an d Supervision and the State Board of Osteopathic Examiners. C. A pharmacist who has completed a requisite course of training as approved by the Board in consultation with the State Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision and the State Board of Osteopathic Examiners may administer immunizations and therapeutic injections on orders from a licensed prescriber , and may administer immunizations that have been approved or authorized by the Food and Drug Administration without a patient -specific prescription, standing order or similar arrangement . SECTION 2. It being immediately necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
