SENATE BILL By:
AS INTRODUCED
An Act relating to the state senate districts ;
creating the State Senate Redistricting Act of 2021;
providing for codification; and providing an
effective date.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE S TATE OF OKLAHOMA:
SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 80.35.5 of Title 14, unless
there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
This act shall be known and may be cited as the “State Senate
Redistricting Act of 20 21”.
SECTION 2. REPEALER 14 O.S. 2011, Sections 80.35,
80.35.1, 80.35.2 and 80.35.4 are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This act shall beco me effective November 1, 2021.
