AS INTRODUCED
An Act relating to professions and occupations;
amending 59 O.S. 2021, Section 1007 , which relates to
The Plumbing License Law of 195 5; providing
qualifications for journeyman plumber examination;
and providing an effective date .
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 59 O.S. 2021, Section 1007, is
amended to read as follows:
Section 1007. A. Application for examination, license or
renewal of license shall be made to the Construction Industries
Board in writing and, if required, on forms furnished by the Board
and shall be accompanied by the proper fee.
B. Applicants for the journeyman plumber examination must be
eighteen (18) years of age or older and have eighteen (18) months
experience in the plumbing trade .
SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 202 3.
