COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE
An Act relating to medical marijuana law e nforcement;
making appropriation to the County Sheriff Public
Safety Grant Revolving Fund; stating amount; stating
purposes; providing an effecti ve date; and declaring
an emergency.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLA HOMA:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appr opriated to the County Sheriff
Public Safety Grant Revolving Fund from any monies not otherwise
appropriated from the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Auth ority Revolving
Fund, the sum of Five Million Dollars ($5,000,000.00) or so much
thereof as may be necessary to perform the duties imposed upon the
Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority by law to provide assistance to

local law enforcement personnel pursuant to the provisions of
Section 427.3a of Title 63 of the Oklahoma Statutes .
SECTION 2. This act shall becom e effective July 1, 2023.
SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the pres ervation
of the public peace, healt h or safety, an emergency is hereby
declared to exist, by reason whereof th is act shall take effect and
be in full force fro m and after its passage and approval.
