An Act relating to the Oklahoma State Regents for
Higher Education; making an appropriation; providing
amount; identifying source ; providing purpose;
providing for noncodifica tion; and declaring an
emergency.
SUBJECT: Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law no t to be
codified in the Oklahoma Statutes reads as f ollows:
There is hereby approp riated to the Oklahoma State Regents for
Higher Education from any monies not otherwise appropriated from the
General Revenue Fund of the State Treasury for the fiscal year
ending June 30, 2022, the sum of Nine Million Dollars
($9,000,000.00) or so much thereof as may be necessary to cover
costs associated with implementing the Oklahoma National Guard
Educational Assistance Program created by Enrolled Senate Bill No.
1418 of the 2nd Session of the 58th Oklahoma Legislature .
SECTION 2. It being immediately necessary for the preservation
of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and
be in full force from and after its passage an d approval.
