An Act relating to the Oklahoma Department of
Veterans Affairs; making an appropriation;
establishing amount; identifying source; providing
purpose; providing for noncodification; and declaring
an emergency.
SUBJECT: Oklahoma Department of Veterans Affa irs
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STAT E OF OKLAHOMA:
SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law not to be
codified in the Okla homa Statutes reads as follows:
There is hereby appropriated to t he Oklahoma Department of
Veterans Affairs from any monies not otherwise appropria ted from the
General Revenue Fund of the State Treasury for the fiscal year
ending June 30, 2022, the sum of Ten Million Eight Hundred Sixty -
three Thousand Four Hundred Seventy Dollars ( $10,863,470.00) or so
much thereof as may be necessary to advance the construction and
furnishing of facilities to be operated by the Oklahoma Department
of Veterans Affairs.
SECTION 2. It being immediately necessary for the preservation
of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and
be in full force from and after its passage an d approval.
