BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA : SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law not to be codified in the Oklahoma Statutes reads as follows: There is hereby appropriat ed to the Legislative Servic e Bureau from monies not otherwise appropriated from the ARPA State Fisca l Recovery Fund (496), the sum of Four Hundred Eighty -one Thousand Eight Hundred Ninety Doll ars ($481,890.00) or so much thereof as may be necessary to pay obligations that may arise out of contracts during the Fiscal Year 2023 and Fiscal Year 2024 related to the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021. SECTION 2. NEW LAW A new section of law not to be codified in the Oklahoma Statutes reads as follows: ENGR. H. B. SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary f or the preservation of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and be in full force from and after its passage an d approval.
