BILL NO. 125 By: Daniels of the Senate

Worthen of the House
An Act relating to law libraries; amending 2 0 O.S.
2021, Section 1211, whi ch relates to meetings of
board of law library tru stees; decreasing frequency
of certain required meetings; providing an effective
date; and declaring an emergency .
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 20 O.S. 2021, Section 1211, is
amended to read as follows :
Section 1211. The board of trustees shall meet once each month
quarterly and at such other times as they may appoint, at a place to
be appointed for that purpose. A majority of a ll their number shall
constitute a quorum for business.
SECTION 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 2023.
SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary f or the preservation
of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
declared to exist, by reason whereo f this act shall take effect and
be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
