SENATE BILL 360 By: Pugh
AS INTRODUCED
An Act relating to schools; directing the State Board
of Education to provide certain salary bonus to
certain school nurse with certain cer tification;
providing for codification; providing an effective
date; and declaring an emergency .
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 6-213 of Title 70, unless there
is created a duplication in num bering, reads as follows:
The State Board of Education shall provide an annual salary
bonus in the amount of Five Hundr ed Dollars ($500.00) to a school
nurse, as defined by Section 1-116 of Title 70 of the Oklahoma
Statutes, who maintains cert ification from the National Board for
Certification of School Nurses and is employed by a school district
in this state.
SECTION 2. This act shall become effective Ju ly 1, 2023.
SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the preserv ation
of the public peace, health , or safety, an emergency is hereby

declared to exist, by reason whereof thi s act shall take effect and
be in full force from and after i ts passage and approval.
