An Act relating to memorial highways and bridges;
designating The Honorable Secretary Gary M. Ridley
Memorial Interchange ; providing for codification; and
providing an effective date
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF TH E STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
SECTION 1. NEW LAW A n ew section of law to be codified
in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1698.406 of Title 69, unless
there is created a duplicatio n in numbering, reads as follows:
The interchange of Interstate 35 and State Highway 51 in Payne
County shall be designated as “The Honorable Secretary Gary M.
Ridley Memorial Interchange”. The Department of Transportation
shall cause suitable markers bearing that nam e to be placed on the
interchange.
SECTION 2. This act shall become effecti ve November 1, 2023.
