BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA: SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 33.1 of Title 76, unless there is created a duplication in numbering , reads as follows: A. As used in this section : 1. "Food" means unserved perishable, salvageable food that has been properly preserved for human consumption; and 2. "Restaurant" means any eating establish ment regardless of seating capacity including public school district cafeterias. B. C. This section shall apply to all civil actions filed on or after November 1, 2023. SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2023.
