COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE
An Act relating to Oklahoma Water Resource s Board;
making an appropriation; identifying source;
establishing amount; specifying purpose; providing
for noncodification; and declaring an emergency.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAH OMA:
SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law not to be
codified in the Oklahoma Statutes reads as follows:
There is hereby appropriated to the Oklahoma Water Resources
Board from any monies not otherwise approp riated from the General
Revenue Fund of the State Treasury for the fiscal year ending June
30, 2022, the sum of Thirty-Eight Million, Six Hundred Twenty
Thousand Dollars ($38,620,000.00) or so much thereof as may be

necessary for upgrades to water and wastewater systems, located in
Northeast Oklahoma along an inland waterway that supplies water and
wastewater to major supply chain locations.
SECTION 2. It being immediately necessary for the preservation
of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and
be in full force from and after its passage an d approval.
