An Act relating to school security; making an
appropriation; establishing an amount; identifying a
funding source; providing purpose; providing for
noncodification; providing an effective date; and
declaring an emergency.
SUBJECT: School security
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE O F OKLAHOMA:
SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law not to be
codified in the Oklahoma Statutes reads as follows:
There is hereby appropriated to the School Security Revolving
Fund, created by Enrolled House Bill No. 2903 of the 1st Session of
the 59th Oklahoma Legislat ure, from any monies not otherwise
appropriated from the Genera l Revenue Fund of the State Treasury for
the fiscal year ending June 30, 2022, the sum of One Hundred Fifty
Million Dollars ($150,000,000.00) or so much thereof as may be
necessary to cover costs associated with implementing the provisions
of Enrolled House Bill No. 2903 of the 1st Session of the 5 9th
Oklahoma Legislature.
SECTION 2. This act shall bec ome effective July 1, 2023.
SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the preservation
of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby ENR. H. B. NO. 2904 Page 2
declared to exist, b y reason whereof this act shall take effect and
be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
