An Act relating to the Legislative Service Bureau;
making an appropriation; identifying a sou rce;
establishing an amount; pr oviding purpose; providing
for noncodification; providing an effective date; and
declaring an emergenc y.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PE OPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law not to be
codified in the Oklahoma Statutes reads as follows:
There is hereby appropriated to the Legislative Service Burea u
from monies not otherwise appropri ated from the ARPA Administrative
Costs Fund created in Enrolled House Bill No. 2940 of the 1st
Session of the 59th Oklahoma Legislature, the sum of Two Hundred
Forty-eight Thousand Dollars ($248 ,000.00) or so much thereof as may
be necessary to pay obligati ons that may arise out of contracts
during Fiscal Year 2025 related to the American Rescue Plan Act of
2021.
SECTION 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 2024.

SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the preser vation
of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
declared to exist, by reason whereof thi s act shall take effect and
be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
