HOUSE BILL 3513 By: Johns and Waldron
AS INTRODUCED
An Act relating to the state capitol and capitol
buildings; amending 73 O.S. 2021, Section 207, which
relates to the Oliver H odge Memorial Education
Building; directing the Office of Management
Enterprise Services to coordinate with certain
nonprofit organization; requiring display of certain
portraits and plaques ; clarifying costs to be
expended by nonprofit organiz ation; and providing an
effective date.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 73 O.S. 2021, Section 207, is
amended to read as follows:
Section 207. A. The office building to be constructed for all
functions of education by the Oklahoma Capitol Improvement Authority
under the provisions of 73 O.S. 1971, Section 168, is hereby named
and shall be identifi ed as the Oliver Hodge Memorial Educati on
Building.
B. The Office of Management and Enterprise Serv ices, in
coordination with a nonprofit organization established to recognize

and honor professionals inducted in the Oklahoma Educators Hall of
Fame, shall prominently dis play portraits and plaques of Oklahoma
Educators Hall of Fame inductees inside the Oliver Hodge Memorial
Education Building in a location which is readily accessible to the
general public. All costs for p ortraits and plaques and their
installation and preservation shall be expended by the nonprofit
organization which recognizes and honors members of the Oklahoma
Educators Hall of Fame.
SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2024.
