COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE
An Act relating to definitions and general
provisions; designating Healthy Soils Week; providing
for codification; and providing an effective date .
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 90.28 of Title 25, unless there
is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
The third full week of April each year is hereby designated as
"Healthy Soils Week" to be observed throughout the state as a week
to celebrate and rais e awareness for the importance of soil health
to Oklahoma agriculture and in recognition of family farmers.
SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2024.
