AS INTRODUCED
An Act relating to education; permitting that public
colleges and universities give credit for certain
courses; directing public colleges and universities
to establish guidelines and policies; providing for
codification; and providing an effective date .
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of la w to be codified
in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1210.705 of Title 70, unless
there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
Students who receive a letter grade of B or higher in an
advanced placement course and take the advanced placement course
exam shall receive credit for that course from all public Oklahoma
colleges and universities that accept concurrent enrollment credits
for that course. Colleges and universit ies that accept advanced

placement course credits shall establish guid elines and policies and
make them publicly available.
SECTION 2. This act shall become e ffective November 1, 2024.
