BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA: SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 90.28 of Title 25, unless there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows: A. If a federal law is passed that authorizes states to observe daylight saving time year-round, this state shall adopt daylight saving time as the year-round standard of time for the entire state and all its political subdivisions. B. SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon the enactment of a federal law that permits states to enter upon and permanently observe daylight saving time.
