BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA: SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to b e codified in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1096 of Title 64, unless there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows : A. As used in this section , “unauthorized camp” means any tent, shelter, or bedding constructed or arranged for the purpose of or in such a way to permit overnight use on a property not designated as a campsite. B. Persons may not use public rights -of-way or state-owned lands for the purposes of establishing an unauthorized camp. C. Any person who violates the provisions of this section commits a misdemeanor punishable as provided in Section 10 of Title 21 of the Oklahoma Statutes. However, a person who commits a first Req. Such assistance may include, but is not limited to, tran sportation to a shelter, food pantry, or other place where resources are made available to assist th e indigent and homeless. SECTION 2.
