SENATE BILL 256 By: Bullard
AS INTRODUCED
An Act relating to the State Department of H ealth;
making an appropriation; statin g purpose; providing
an effective date; and declar ing an emergency.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated to the State Department
of Health from any monies not otherwise appropriated f rom the
General Revenue Fund o f the State Treasury for the fiscal year
ending June 30, 2024, the sum of One Million Seven Hundred Fifty
Thousand Dollars ($1,750,000.00) or so much thereof as may be
necessary for the reimbursement of obstetric ultrasounds performed
at pregnancy resource centers .
SECTION 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 2023.
SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the preservation
of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
declared to exist, by reason whereof thi s act shall take effect and
be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
