SENATE BILL 734 By: Dahm
AS INTRODUCED
An Act relating to the practice of pharmacy; making
certain drugs available over-the-counter without
prescription; providing for codificat ion; and
providing an effective date .
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
in the Oklahoma Statute s as Section 353.22.1 of Title 59, unless
there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
Notwithstanding any other provision of law, ivermectin tablets
and hydroxychloroquine tablets shall be available to the public
through over-the-counter purchase in this state without a
prescription or consultation with a pharmacist or other health care
professional.
SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 202 3.
