BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA: SECTION 1. NEW LAW A ne w section of law to be codified in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 2-9-111 of Title 27A, unless there is created a duplication in numb ering, reads as follows: On or before January 1, 202 5, the Department of Environm ental Quality, in coordination with the Office of the Secretary of Energy and Environment, shall conduct a study pursuant to this sectio n. The study shall focus on the feasibility of establishing nuclear facilities to be located in this state. The study shall also include the state requirement s as specified by the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission and any method of federal agen cy approval. The Department shall issue a report based on the findings of the study and shall include any recommendatio ns for the establishment of a facility. The report shall be de livered to the ENGR. S. B.
