SENATE BILL 110 By: Woods
AS INTRODUCED
An Act relating to the Board of Medicolegal
Investigations; making an appropriation; stating
purpose; providing an effective date; and dec laring
an emergency.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated to the Board of
Medicolegal Investigations from any monies not otherwise
appropriated from the General Reven ue Fund of the State Treasury for
the fiscal year ending June 30, 202 6, the sum of Three Hundred
Eighty-Nine Thousand Forty Dollars ($389,040.00) or so much thereof
as may be necessary for the purpose of creating an additional
investigations district and hiring three additional death
investigators.
SECTION 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 2025.
SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the preservation
of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and

be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
