On page 1 of the printed bill, line 2, after the semicolon delete the rest of the line and insert
“creating new provisions; amending ORS 162.135 and 807.115; and declaring an emergency.”.
On page 2, after line 22, insert:
“SECTION 3.The amendments to ORS 807.115 by section 2 of this 2025 Act become op-
erative on January 1, 2026.
“SECTION 4.This 2025 Act being necessary for the immediate preservation of the public
peace, health and safety, an emergency is declared to exist, and this 2025 Act takes effect
on its passage.”.
