A BILL FOR AN ACT
Relating to water; and declaring an emergency.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:
SECTION 1.	Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the General Fund appropriation
made to the Water Resources Department by section 1 (1), chapter 	, Oregon Laws
2025 (Enrolled Senate Bill 5543), for the biennium beginning July 1, 2025, for administrative
services, is increased by $227,328, for positions related to water right transaction processing
activities.
SECTION 2.Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the General Fund appropriation
made to the Water Resources Department by section 1 (3), chapter 	, Oregon Laws
2025 (Enrolled Senate Bill 5543), for the biennium beginning July 1, 2025, for water rights and
adjudications, is increased by $1,464,003, for positions related to water right transaction
processingactivities.
SECTION 3.	This 2025 Act being necessary for the immediate preservation of the public
peace, health and safety, an emergency is declared to exist, and this 2025 Act takes effect
on its passage.
