SUMMARY:
House Bill 209 amends the Second Class Township Code (P.L. 103, No. 69) to update when an enacted
ordinance takes effect.
ANALYSIS:
This bill changes the date an ordinance takes effect from five days after adoption to immediately after
adoption unless a later date is stated in the ordinance.
This act would take effect immediately.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This bill would have no impact on commonwealth funds.
