Permits certain registered pharmacy technicians to assist a licensed pharmacist in preparing prescriptions in facilities licensed pursuant to articles twenty-eight or thirty-one of the public health law, or a pharmacy owned and operated by such facility, under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist employed by such facility.
Relates to actions by health care providers against patients; provides that it shall be an affirmative defense to an action by a health care provider against a patient for recovery of payment for an outstanding bill that such health care provider failed to submit such insurance claim to the patient's insurer in a timely manner.
Establishes the bottle redemption fraud task force to provide the governor and the legislature with information on the fraud, enforcement, and reporting requirements related to the New York state returnable container act.
Relates to a state transportation plan; requires such plan include a minimum twenty-year forecast period at the time of adoption, assessing long-range needs spanning such period, including a forecast of highway pavement and bridge conditions.
Relates to establishing the crime of coercive control; provides that a person is guilty of coercive control when he or she engages in a course of conduct against a member of his or her same family or household, without the victim's consent, which results in limiting or restricting, in full or in part, the victim's behavior, movement, associations or access to or use of his or her own finances or financial information; and provides that coercive control is a class E felony.
Relates to repair reserve funds for municipal corporations, school districts, boards of cooperative educational services, district corporations and improvement districts.
Prohibits courts from ordering an evaluation of a party or child or allowing into evidence a forensic report created by a forensic evaluator on a party or child to assist such court in a child custody or visitation determination.
Authorizes a supreme court judge hearing a petition for an "extreme risk protection order" to also hear a petition for a regular order of protection pursuant to the criminal procedure law, the domestic relations law and/or the family court act.
