Relates to prohibiting the sale or distribution of expanded polystyrene containers that are designed or intended to be used for cold storage beginning January 1, 2026.
Relates to requiring the power authority of the state of New York to post on its website and develop a corresponding mobile application with information on electric vehicle charging stations; requires the website and mobile application include a map with the addresses of each electric vehicle charging station in the state, whether the charging station is located in a parking lot, parking garage or on a street, whether there are fees required to use a charging station, and whether a charging station is out of service or otherwise unavailable.
Requires local boards and the division of housing and community renewal to submit certain residential housing and zoning information to the department of state annually; requires such information to be published by the department of state on its website.
Establishes the public water justice act; prohibits sale of waters of the state unless otherwise specifically authorized; establishes a public water justice fund for royalties and fees collected from persons or entities authorized to sell waters of the state.
Requires testing the radon level of gas produced, sold, purchased, acquired, stored or injected; prohibits gas with a radon content greater than 2 pCi/L from entering the distribution system.
Provides a tax credit for small businesses employing a person previously convicted of a crime; provides a tax credit of one thousand five hundred dollars for each person employed.
Provides tuition assistance program awards for students completing programs of micro-credentialing; includes micro-credential programs in reports which determine community college funding.
