Allows the department of financial services to have additional oversight of banks and insurance companies that are not currently licensed in this state; provides penalties for violations.
Relates to the use of antipsychotic medications in nursing homes; imposes limits as to time and documentation; requires informed consent under certain circumstances.
Provides that any small property owner that owns twenty units or less shall be entitled to free legal services if such small property owner can prove a loss of at least twenty percent of rent payments in a calendar year; defines "small property owner" as any lessor in a residential real property transaction, and includes an owner of twenty units or less who lists residential real property for lease with an agent, whether or not a lease results, or who receives an offer to lease twenty units of residential real property or less.
Prohibits deceptive rate advertising for certain accommodations; requires advertised rates to be inclusive of all taxes and automatic fees; requires the non-inclusive rate, and an itemized list of taxes and automatic fees to be provided to the consumer prior to a person finalizing their purchase.
Requires the collection of oaths of responsible use from users of certain generative or surveillance advanced artificial intelligence systems by the operators of such systems, and transmission of such oaths to the attorney general.
