Directs the comptroller to review and provide a recommendation of approval or modifications, for submission for federal approval of any tribal-state compact approved or executed between the state of New York, the governor, or his or her designee and an Indian nation or tribe.
Repeals the requirement that any person, firm or corporation that sells or offers for sale at retail any motor fuel for use in internal combustion engines in motor vehicles or motorboats posts on the dispensing device signage stating the price per gallon of such motor fuel.
Prohibits the granting of a certificate for the construction or operation of an on-shore or off-shore industrial wind turbine or wind farm within the jurisdiction and control of the state and within any area of the state outside of the city of New York unless a certificate for the construction or operation of an on-shore or off-shore industrial wind turbine or wind farm within geographic boundaries of or the shoreline adjacent to the city of New York is granted simultaneously.
Deems Anthony Varvaro to have died as the natural and proximate result of an accident sustained in the performance of duty so as to permit accidental death benefits to be awarded to his beneficiaries.
Adds a person having been previously convicted of petit larceny two times within any three month period or three times within any twelve month period to the definition of grand larceny in the fourth degree.
Prohibits a municipality from relocating migrants from such municipality to another municipality in New York unless and until a resolution authorizing the relocation has been adopted by the governing bodies of both the municipality to which the migrants are to be relocated and the county in which the receiving municipality is located; mandates written notice prior to location; provides for a fine for violations.
Imposes consultation and reporting requirements for municipal corporations resettling, transporting or relocating non-detained migrants to another municipal corporation within the state, which is directed, administered, or funded by the federal government, the secretary of health and human services in the case of minors, the secretary of homeland security in the case of adults, or any municipal corporation within the state or agents thereof.
Extends the duration of certain brownfield redevelopment and remediation tax credits with respect to a site located within the Renaissance Commerce Park situate within the city of Lackawanna, Erie county.
