Provides for the initiation of treatment for COVID-19, influenza, and pharyngitis resulting from a Group A streptococcal infection by a licensed pharmacist in certain circumstances.
Requires health benefits for state and retired state employees have the option to only cover the employee or retiree and their spouse or domestic partner.
Extends provisions of law relating to allowing pharmacists to direct limited service laboratories and order and administer COVID-19 and influenza tests and modernizing nurse practitioners and authorizing pharmacists to perform collaborative drug therapy management with physicians in certain settings.
Updates the fee collected by county clerks and clerks for the city of New York for deposit into the cultural education account from $15 to $25; increases the amount retained by the county or city from $0.75 to $1.00.
Establishes the New York state museum partnership trust to serve as a focal point for the receipt and administration of private gifts, devises and bequests of real and personal property donated to further historic preservation, advance cultural education, and enhance the state museum; makes an appropriation of $250,000 for the hiring of an executive director of the trust.
Establishes a highway and depot charging needs evaluation to assist in achieving targets set forth by the climate leadership and community protection act, zero-emissions vehicle sales target and regulations, including the advanced clean truck, advanced clean cars II rules and the zero-emissions school bus mandate.
Provides that the tax on premium cigars shall be at the rate of seventy-five percent of the wholesale price or fifty cents, whichever is less, and is intended to be imposed only once upon the sale of any premium cigars; defines "premium cigar"; provides for the repeal of such provisions upon expiration thereof.
Prohibits the use of credit history checks to ascertain the payment status of a student loan of an applicant for employment for the purposes of making hiring decisions except where otherwise mandated by law.
Includes permissible payment methods, advance consent for direct payments, and annually providing the updated rate schedule as required terms for certain insurance contracts.
