Requires every entity responsible for the broadcast rights of a sports team which is part of a national or international professional sports league to ensure that every publicly broadcast game played by such sports team which is played in a facility that is benefitting or has benefitted from state funds, tax subsidies, eminent domain, or another valuable benefit that was made at a cost to the state, shall be made available to view at no cost within the county such facility is situated in and its adjoining counties.
Authorizes the New York state energy research and development authority to administer a program to provide grants or loans for the costs related to enabling switching residences with propane or fuel-oil heating systems to efficient electric heat pumps.
Enacts the reproductive health care facilities and religious worship access act; provides that the crime of criminal interference with health care services or religious worship shall be established by the mens rea of knowingly injuring, intimidating or interfering with a person obtaining or providing or assisting in obtaining or providing reproductive health services or a place of religious worship; includes in the definition of such crime engaging in a course of conduct or repeatedly committing acts within twenty-five feet of the premises of a reproductive health care facility or a place of religious worship; defines such premises; provides for a civil cause of action for any person harmed by conduct constituting such a crime.
Prohibits electric corporations, gas corporations and utilities from passing along costs or increasing charges to ratepayers for electricity and natural gas, or any associated goods and services, as a result of increased costs incurred by such corporation due to tariffs placed by the government of the United States on the importation of goods, services or materials from countries outside the United States or due to tariffs placed by the governments of countries or their political subdivisions on the exportation of goods, services, or materials to the United States.
Makes a technical change to the tax law; authorizes the imposition of an occupancy tax in the city of Newburgh, in relation of the effectiveness thereof.
