Requires DCYF to place a locked suggestion box in its facilities and create a digitally secured suggestion box into which residents may place comments and/or concerns to be addressed by the Rhode Island Child Advocate.
Provides for an annual increase of supplemental income for individuals and couples living alone, in accordance with the consumer price index for urban consumers over the average for the previous calendar year, commencing July 1, 2025.

Prohibits the charging of any fees to a senior citizen who is 65 years of age or older for a hard-copy paper bill, invoice or statement. The violation of this provision would be a deceptive trade practice subject to a $500 fine.
HOUSE RESOLUTION CREATING A SPECIAL LEGISLATIVE COMMISSION TO STUDY THE ABILITY OF THE RHODE ISLAND EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM TO OFFER DEGREE OR CERTIFICATE PROGRAMS WITHIN THE STATE TO PROVIDE A SUPPLY AND A PIPELINE OF PLANNERS, PLANNING TECHNICIANS, AND PLANNING STAFF (Creates an 11 member commission to study the ability of the RI educational system to offer degrees or certificates to provide a supply/pipeline of planners, planning technicians and staff, and report back by January 1, 2025, and expire on June 30, 2025.)
