Recognizing June 19, 2023, as "Juneteenth Independence Day" in Pennsylvania in recognition of June 19, 1865, the date on which slavery was abolished finally in all regions of the United States.
Recognizing the month of September 2023 as "Suicide Prevention Awareness Month" and September 10, 2023, as "World Suicide Prevention Day" in Pennsylvania.
Directing the Joint State Government Commission to conduct a study on the nutritional value of food, along with the nutrition-related health of incarcerated individuals, in State correctional institutions in this Commonwealth and to issue a report of its findings and recommendations to the House of Representatives.
