Requires the inclusion of suicide prevention resources to be provided with a warrant of eviction, including the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline and the applicable Suicide Crisis telephone number as provided by the Office of Mental Health.
Relates to project labor agreement feasibility studies and apprenticeship agreements; provides the study shall look to see if there will be a negative impact on opportunities for minority, women or service-disabled veteran owned businesses; provides such feasibility studies shall be provided to the public for review and comment.
Permits emergency medical parole during a time of crisis to those that have a disability and who are at serious risk for death, disease or other harm due to an emergency disaster being declared provided such person has a reasonably stable living situation upon release and does not pose an unreasonable current public safety risk.
Relates to removing the fee for a sex offender to make a change to such sex offender's registration with the division of criminal justice services including fees for changing their address, or any change to their status of enrollment, attendance, employment or residence at any institution of higher education.
Relates to establishing emergency release protocols during a time of crisis including during a state disaster emergency which places the lives, health or well-being of people in custody at risk.
Enacts the "New York City Training And Comprehension of Trauma in Children (TACTIC) Act"; establishes the TACTIC council; provides for a trauma informed care training program to teachers in schools located in the city of New York; creates a department of child trauma informed care to assist with parenting workshops, to assign trauma informed care specialists to schools and to report to the TACTIC council regarding child trauma informed care provided to schools in the city of New York.
Prohibits the state from entering into certain contracts with companies requiring employees to stipulate to binding arbitration for all disputes unless it excludes disputes involving sexual assault.
Establishes clean energy goals of reducing the annual total of vehicle miles traveled within the state by 20% by the year 2050; requires state and local highway projects to comply with reductions to vehicle miles traveled targets.
