Permits those licensed to carry or possess a pistol or revolver or to purchase or take possession of a semi-automatic rifle or licensed to hunt wildlife to purchase or take possession of ammunition without requiring contacting the statewide license and record database.

Repeals certain provisions establishing a fee for background checks on certain firearm and ammunition purchases; removes such fees as a source of funds for the background check fund.
Requires that any rules or regulations promulgated by the department of environmental conservation pursuant to the climate action fund are subject to a vote of the legislature and must be approved by a majority vote prior to implementation.

Adds impersonation of board of elections members or other election officers, or an employee thereof, to the crime of criminal impersonation in the first degree.
Requires the disclosure of political communication produced by artificial intelligence technology; defines terms; provides that any person who, with intent to damage a candidate or deceive the electorate, creates and disseminates artificial media shall be guilty of a class E felony; establishes the fair use of artificial intelligence code; makes related provisions.
